I don't understand you. You must open the EXS24 on an instrument track (not
an audio track) and place the iso track on the instrument track in the
arrange window (forget the audio track... use that for vox).

How do you generate an audio track with the EXS24 with Logic?

2002-01-06 by Francois Delorme

Hi!

I am new to both Logic and the EXS24. I am trying to generate an audio track with Logic using a sample from Spectrasonics.

I can import the sample without any problems. However, I don't seem to be able to generate an audio track. Using the Groove Control feature, I inserted the .iso track on the first audio track where my EXS24 is specified. Playback works fine. However, I want to generate a audio track from this. The Bounce operation does not work as I can't generate activity on the output 1-2 strip (although there is on track 1).

Everything works fine if I insert an audio track.

I suspect that because the Groove Control track is a Midi track, that's why I can"t generate sound on the master output 1-2 strip.

Is there something specific that has to be specified on the EXS24 itself (in terms of output??)??

I would appreciate some help from people that are able to do the same thing.

Thanks in advance.

Francois
