Really good orchestral for EXS 24

Really good orchestral for EXS 24

Dear list,

Are there any really good complete orchestral packages for the EXS 24?
Meaning native, actually programmed for the EXS 24?

thanx

None that I know of -- but I'm new to the EXS24 fold. I find the Advanced
Orchestra library to be quite excellent and it imported in just fine.

Having said that, this library DOES have some shortfalls in it's preset
programming. For example, there are no velocity switched presets, switching
between loud and soft samples... Although there are both as separate
presets. I have found it very easy to combine them within the ESX24 by
simply copy-pasting from one to the other, then setting a velocity switch
point in the Zone window.

The compact edition of Peter Siedlaczek's Advanced Orchestra is available in
native
EXS24 format (available from www.soundsonline.com amongst others), although
I
haven't used that version myself.

As others have pointed out though, the Advanced Orchestra series and
Miroslav
Vitous in Akai format will convert (relatively) painlessly for use in the
EXS24.

Steve
