Triggering Samples from Audio?

Hi... I need to trigger some bass drum samples (within the EXS24 hopefully) from a convential Logic audio track (wave file) of a kick drum. Is this possible within Logic? Does it need to use a CV Gate or similiar. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Harvey Mann
