LAMP 4.7 / EXS 24/ New G4's and MAC OS 9.04

2001-05-14 by technodork_2000@yahoo.com

Hello,

I have several Logic buddies here in Nashville that have reverted
to Mac OS 9.04 for stability. I was curious if you could run MAC
OS 9.04 on the new generation G4's, dual processor, with the
133mhz system buss.....

The people I know using 9.04 with LAMP 4.7 and the most basic
of extensions sets are running smoother than ever, with the new
midi engine intact, less crashes and freezes........

Thanks in advance for any info this knowledgeable group might
have.........

NOOO, you can Not, not even with the commercial released OS 9.1! the reason
is costume ROM version that deals with all the new hardware improvement, OS
9.1 is great, may slow down old machines but it is Very stable, so think
different!

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
