EXS 24 Logic Sampler Users Group

I have been running Emagic 4. 8.1 on a G4 PowerBook 400 Mhz - OS 9.2.1 (US)
768 Meg Ram with EMI 2|6 for the past nine months.
When opening Emagic
I get an error message of "ASIO:
Not enough memory (-108) - Continue".
Tracks appear to play, in the signal display in the arrange window, yet 
no sound from emi 2|6. Something is wrong
When I attempt to view the EXS labels in the instrument environment 
window they all have a cross across the blue EXS icon.
Clicking on them gives me a small instrument list or no effects window, 
instead of the big EXS controls green window

I have reinstalled EXS.
I have reinstalled emi 2|6
I have increased memory for EMagic.
I have switched the Driver both ways

During the session prior to this failure. I had been adjusting the 
tuning of EXS samples and saving the retunings as new instruments in the 
Sampler Instruments.

Any advice, ideas appreciated.
