Hello, I just bought a very expensive Akai1000 brass library, and I am getting corrupted wav files, both when auditioning the wavs from within EXS's conversion program and after converting and opening up the instrument in the EXS24. I checked with company and they say that their files are 100% error free, and that the problem is with Logic/EXS. I believe that this may be true, as the EXS24 is new and may still have some bugs and this particular sound library was completely and very well reviewed in several different publications (that's why I bought it). Has anyone else run into reputable sound libraries with corrupted Akai CD-ROM files showing up either in the EXS conversion page and/or after conversion to EXS? I am hoping that someone who has had some problems like mine can tell me if, after buying either Translator or CDxtract, you have been able to cleanly convert the problem instruments with either of those programs. Before I buy one or the other, I would like to hear from some of you who have had experience with one (or even better, both) of these 3rd party conversion programs. Thanks, David Benus
