You obviously have system X on there somewhere aswell as 9 and Nortons
doesn't like this. It is not a prob though.
You didn't need to reinstall your system soft. You probably have (now don't
groel me down) a lot of your extensions enabled which don't need to be.
Nortons didn't need to fix the formentioned problem, because it actually
isn't a problem. You probably also had a couple of thousand 'creation date'
type errors come up also. This seems to happen when running Nortees also.
I have actually deleted my whole system X off of my HD until, it is actually
usefull, which will be sometime I imagine.
As the guys said, there software does not effect the system, so it may be an
unfortunate coincidence that things went awal wheb they did. but we all need
to be carefull when poking blame at companies on this and other lists.
Because nine times in ten, problems are due to an oversight from a users
perspective.
