I have never had any luck in using the import sample options that are supposed to look at the sample files "key note" or whatever it's called. What I do is this: 1) Move all samples to one folder 2) Find out in which order you want the samples on your keyboard 3) Click on each file so it moves from the upper window (unselected) to the lower (selected) in the order you wish the keyboard layout to be, selecting the sample you want to map to the HIGHEST note first and moving down 4) Check the order in the lower window 5) Import using the option that puts each sample on one key starting from C0. I also use this method for chromatic multisamples, always selecting each file individually starting with the highest note. Remember that you, with one key command, can move all zones afterwards with their key notes. I think it was Sascha Franck who told this on the list and it really is a time saver. I hope this makes some kind of sense, I'm at work now and wish I had the Logic screen in front of me while writing. Kind regards, Soren Riis-Vestergaard
