Right you are. For some reason, I had the impression that hyperedit was able
to handle multiple midi channels (don't know why I would think that), but
there's no question that having a drum editor such as the one in cubase
would be a wonderful benefit. I do all my drums with the EXS (except in rare
instances), so I can appreciate the value of you suggestion. I've simply
been used to living with out it, and it's always been ok with me to deal
with kicks on one track, snares on another, etc. I'm sure I would make use
of the feature, however, if it were there. Especially when banging out
different ideas before laying the tracks down. Actually, I'm really starting
to see the light here... Damn, that would be nice! Thanks for your
clarification.
