Problem might be caused not by demo audio tracks but by being a multi format CD if there is PC or MAC software on there. I remember having to get an older CD driver and install when I had this problem but that was when I had a dual G4 and OS9. The following is from the timespace.com sitesupport section FAQs: Why won't my MAC recognise my mixed-mode (e.g. Audio+Akai) Sample CDs? This is most likely because you are running OS9 or later. You will need to change the Apple CD/DVD Driver Extension for an earlier version. Apple changed this driver with OS9 and as a result, your MAC will only see the audio partition of mixed-mode CDs. The driver is available from us via email. -- Pete Thomas www.petethomas.co.uk - Free Logic Icons, Environments and EXS Instruments
