Yahoo groups going, going...

Yahoo groups going, going...

2019-10-26 by brianarthur2@...

Hi All

As most of you know Yahoo groups will cease to exist in December

Shame to see this group go

Can't this group be migrated to groups.io? They are trying to make it easy to do that including bringing over the Files and Photos and such stuff.

My EML synths won't have anyone to lurk on any more, to know they aren't forgotten ;-)

All the files, schematics, etc. really need to be archived somewhere that people can find them in the future. There is a treasure trove of documentation on EML synths here that should just plain be erased.

Hoping that will happen!

I was hoping exactly the same thing Laurie!
Are there any mods active here anymore? Anyone?

I've got a ton of cloud backup space and if necessary, I would be happy to archive the files, but not sure how to set things up on another board to make them public again.  That is of course if I can figure out how.

Any suggestions for how to proceed are welcome.

over on the Macbeth Studio Systems group we switched to Facebook. Not idea but at least it’s free.

I’m on the road but is anyone able to archive all those files before they go ?

greetings from the deserts of New Mexico !
