I got the gate to work but I'm not sure where the 1/4" CV goes into the 101...Nothing seems to work

As a matter of fact JKJ was one of the companies that offered a custom mod to their CV/MIDI boxes for use with the EML voltage . I think there were others too.

The seq. in jack should track fine with 1.2 volts, although I modded mine to accept the standard 1 v/oct and 1.2v/oct back in the 80's, see here.
