howdy,
you might consider buying some colored plasic rods, cutting them to
lenth,(first chuck the rod in a drill and spin it against a gring
wheel to round off the tip if you want), cut to length, drill an
appropriate holr in the plastic rod, and secure with some clear
silicone. It's better than nothing.
