I have never used an analog sequencer before bu I've already started to understand this. But I was wondering what the V1, V2, V3 and V4 were. I can't seem to understand the function of those and how they relate to the 401 either. Also, there are two jacks at the bottom (one on each side) of the sequencer section with no markings at all. Does anyone know what those are for? Thanks!

The V1,V2. etc are all voltage outputs from the slide bank. Note the top row has V1, Vclk. If the slide switch to the left of the row is put in one of those positions, the voltage set with each slider in that row is available at the same labeled jack output on the 400/401 synth section. Set the sliders for each stage anywhere along their travel. Down is 0 volts and full up is maximum, don't remember the value. As the sequencer clocks through the sequence, the voltage set on the slider at that stage is active on the jack. So, send that to the filter control, Oscillator CV, etc. and they will follow whatever you have the sliders set to for that row. Kind of a 16 step programmable sample and hold. Yes, I have a manual. If you go to http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com <http://matrixsynth.blogspot.com/> and scroll down a bit, matrix just posted a blog on my studio-the title is EML Poly-box samples. I can tell you anything about the beast so, feel free to ask. Have fun, George Mattson _____
