EML-101, EML-500 Recalibration Procedure?

EML-101, EML-500 Recalibration Procedure?

2002-08-29 by mm123 ah

Hi EML group,

A techie friend of mine is looking for the internal calibration procedures
for the EML-101 and EML-500. Specifically, I believe he wants to know what
the lowest key (F) voltage is supposed to be (0 volts??) and what the output
from the exponential convertor right before the oscillators should read for
each key. Also, should the CV output jack be linear or exponential?

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Mini

Hey Min,

I'm a bit backed up with work. I have a 101 calibration guide but it's for
specific serial numbers. Maybe it will help regardless. I will try to
get to it this weekend. I will try to either make a copy of the
calibration guiide to snail to you, or better still, I will see if I can
scan it and put it in the file archive here for everyone. I don't I have
anything on the 500. Since all their models are designed to interact with
each other without any fuss, it may be that some 101 info will apply to
the 500 too.

regards,

Mike B

Probably will, it would be much appreciated.

I think the scan would be most helpful to everyone, but either way is fine
with me. This isnt the "calibration guide" in the manual which describes
the way to tune it using the knobs on the front panel, right?

hopefully so.

Please let me know if you make any progress. I would like to provide him
with this info sometime soon if possible. Is there any EML literature youre
looking for?

Thanks,
Mini
