Recreation of Emulatorarchive

2013-06-30 by Niklas N

Well,
I just started to re-create and upload Rob Keeble old site Emulatorarchive.
I will just focus on Emax and E4 and nothing else.

Here is a little preview:

Re: Recreation of Emulatorarchive

Emulatorarchive is gone!
I just try to recreate some of the sides, and in particular those dealing with Emax and EOS.

Why I only recreates Emax and EOS?
It's partly because I've used them and because I did find down loaded old web pages from Emulatorarchive on these.
Secondly, it is also because I have limited time and the page must be maintained.

I suggest you get in touch with Kenneth Abildgaard.
He 'inherited' all material from Rob after he closed his website. Kenneth decided to launch a new website dedicated to vintage Emu gear.
That website is not an exact copy of the good ol' EmulatorArchive, and it isn't as complete (yet) neither, but it's out there for quite a while and contains some information and documents about most of the old samplers.

You can check his website here: http://www.theemus.com/

Thanks for the tip \uf04a
Right now I do not need much more material to the website.
I have already been in touch with Rob if it's ok to put up the sides, and it was.

Dropbox is a good suggestion. At the moment I am just trying to get up the aforementioned sides. It is possible that it will come later.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
