I have an Emax HD with a faulty PSU and 7 broken keys. I also have an Emax II with a faulty disk drive. Was wondering if it would possible to swap the PSU from the Emax II into Emax I as well as the entire keybed? I would prefer using the analog filter of the Emax I; however, if this is not possible then is it possible to swap out the HD and the Floppy drive from the Emax I and pop it into the Emax II? Thanks.

Why not fix them both? PSU can be had from EPR electronics (they were in stock yesterday when I looked at their website). keys are available- either ebay or I have some Faulty disk drive can be replaced also, or swap out floppy disk for slim floppy and a Flash media drive like PCD-50b and get rid of possible HD failure and move into year 2000 :-) HD in Emax 1 is only 20MB and HD in Emax2 is 512MB- so big difference there. Took out the PSU from the Emax II and popped it into the Emax I. PSU success. Powered up the Emax I but with diagnostics on LCD and the Preset Definition light and Analog processing LEd on -- hence I think the Mitshubishi MF353B FDD from the Emax I is toast. Popped in the EMax II Mitshubishi MF353BA FDD into the Emax I -- It just displayed system loading on the LCD (even with the HD removed).
