Emax II 8mb for sale

Emax II 8mb for sale

2009-09-23 by mantroni

It's a long time since I've posted here but I wonder whether any list members have any interest in my model 2213 8mb rack.
Good condition and fully working order apart from part of the power switch escutcheon is missing, but it's fully operable.
It's been sitting around idling (E4 takes it's duties) and it's time for someone else to use it.

I'm in the UK but happy to post. Contact me offline for more details.

Emax II 8mb rack for sale. Can it be installed in a keyboard?

2009-10-04 by Reinaldo

It is possible to fit or adapt the 8MB into an Emax II keyboard?

I believe that by just replacing the boards would do. The keypad and buttons can stay but the related one with the ram I believe are just the same in either model. Any experience with that?

If is the case I am interested because I have the 4MB keyboard.

Thank you.

you need the instalation disk as it add code to the rom to access the extra ram if you have not got the instalation disk then the sampler does not see the extra ram and it would still se it as a 4mb machine

If you transplant the whole motherboard, including the RAM daughter board, then the EEPROM goes
with it.
