Website is back online

Website is back online

2005-01-16 by Dave

Just letting everyone know that my website is back online.
www.dragonslair.ca
It seems that my ISP (telus) decided to block all the standard ports
to incomming traffic (without letting anyone know)so no one could
access the site. I would check the site at least once a week, but
since I do it from home, and I am hosting my own site, I guess it ws
bypassing the internet, and logging in throgh my local infrastructure,
the first I knew about it was a friend on the coast told me he had not
been able to log into it for about 2 months, once I found this out, I
started doing some checks, and finally called my ISP and they
confirmed that they where blocking the ports. so I opened some other
ports on the router, and am having all the traffic rerouted to these
ports, so everything seems to be working fine now, I didn't bother
redoing the mail server yet, I just changed the link on the site to my
primary address.
I apologize for any inconvenience this my have caused.

Dave
