I too have been having a problem with lcd on my
emaxII. But mine I think is kind of unique. It
kind of looks like there is mold or dirt behind
the lcd, making it darker. It seemed to happen
slowly, this is why I think its mold or
something. Can the lcd's leak. I would just open
it up and try to clean it but it seems that the
lcd is the hardest thing to get to, ya know, I
dont want to accidently screw something up inside
(which is what usually happens when I take
electronic things apart). Any Ideas?

If my experience is anything to go by this might be a common problem.
It's happened twice on mine, originally with a green one, replaced
after one year with a blue one which has lasted longer but is now
going the same way. I've also seen it on a friend's machine. In all
cases, the clouding seems to be more pronounced around the corners ie
not consistant across the display.

Good luck!
