Emax

Hi,

I'm new to this group-- I recently bought an Emax I SE off ebay, supposedly working, but not. The floppy drive was faulty, so i was stuck for the time being, but I just installed an HxC USB floppy emulator.

The guy who sold me the HxC drive gave me 100 banks of Emax samples to get me started, but unfortunately theres not a lot of sounds I want among the banks; plus, they're all set up for normal OS, and so I can't even use the SE synth engine.

I was hoping there might be HFE files (w SE OS) to download here?

I know that there is software to convert EM1 files to HFE, imprinting whatever OS one needs in the process. But, from what I understand, this software must be run off a PC. I only have access to a Mac right now-- so again, I was hoping I might be able to use some files that have already been converted.

I have a 100 banks of 1.1 OS HFE samples if anyone wants them. I guess I'll upload them into folder here. It's a lot of brass, guitars, plucks, a few strings, chorus, and OBX samples.
