EMuSer Cable

2014-06-20 by bry_204@...

Hi,
I've been trying to get into the eiiiforum by registering, but I can't seem to get any activation emails. I've tried to get the activation resent a number of times, as well as making a new account with a different email. Still nothing.

I'm trying to get on that forum since there's a guy selling EmuSer cables. Can anyone help me get in contact with an admin there or something? I know this isn't exactly the right place to be posting this, but I figured a lot of you would already be members there.

The guy is named Freddy there who is selling the cables.

Thanks

I went through the same exact thing and for the same reason (Emuser). They really need a contact email for people having registration problems like we did. I ended up contacting Esynthesist and asked him to pass the email along to admin at the forum, thankfully he did. The guy that activated my account came from emulatoriii@.... Try that.

Thanks David, sent him an email. Kind of weird how they haven't fixed this if every user seems to have this problem when registering. I guess it's like a referral only forum now, lol.

FYI:
I have documented the pinout of the EmuSer cables (both for EII and Emax) in the user manual and in the construction manual of the EmuSer.
These can be found in a ZIP package on my website: http://www.emxp.net/EMuSer.htm

The pinout for Emax Female DB9 to Mac Male miniDIN8 is:

EMAX MAC
3 ---- 4
4 ---- 6
5 ---- 3
7 ---- 2
8 ---- 8
9 ---- 5

The other pins can be left unconnected.

The pin numbering for the Emax DB9 connector is
(Front view - female - holes:)

+-----------+
| 5 4 3 2 1 |
\ 9 8 7 6 /
-----------

(Back view - solder pins:)

+-----------+
| 1 2 3 4 5 |
\ 6 7 8 9 /
-----------

I've been working on a circuit board for the EMuSer as soon as I'm done
would somebody be interested in verifying it.

Thanks,
Dana
