Modified board

Hello,

My board is an early v2 rev C pcb pc327.
I have problems using the rs422 protocol with the emuser.
I tried to change a few ics related to the midi and rs422, without any luck.
As the board is an early revision it has some jumps here and there, and as you can see on the picture here between the ic2 (which is related to the midi stop) and the ic54 which is associated with the floppy drive controller.
This connection then goes to an empty dip between ic33 and ic34 where there is a glued trim pot.

I wanted to know if this could cause the incompatibility with the rs422 protocol and therefor I search the service manual for the corresponding schematics, but I could not find a connection between ic2 and ic54.
Do other revision board show the same connection?

Best
K

Yes, every board I have ever seen has these same jumper wires - about 10
boards so far.

Ted
