Zip + Floppy OK? Hello all: I have read warnings about overloading the Emax rack power supply with an internal HD and an internal Zip. But what about losing the int HD and running an internal Zip and the floppy drive? Here's my thinking: I completed my external scsi port retrofit yesterday to my SE HD Rack (THANKS Emulator archive for instructs and Diego for links) and I am thrilled with how fast banks load and save to an external scsi ZIP 100. But I am less than thrilled with how loud the orig internal miniscribe drive is and how hot it gets. I thought of disconnecting the int drive and booting from the external zip -- but that won't work because I can't set the ID of the external Zip to 0. However, I have a spare internal SCSI Zip Drive that can be set to 0, and I did get the EMAX to boot from it. The zip cart stays in the drive when you power the drive off. Can I replace the miniscribe drive with the internal Zip and still be ok with the power supply? BTW I would use the internal ZIP as a fixed boot drive, and still use the external Zip on the new external SCSI port.
