I'm not sure if this led was lit, but the Emax definitely went into a crash. nothing worked when those caracters started to appear... I;m still not sure the problem has gone completely but it def helped.

I had (maybe still have) this problem... I touched the LCD board,cleaned it a little and now it's good.

I did what you recommended, unplug de flat cable of the analog board and cleaned it, then restart de sampler and start without problem but when connect scsi zip drive failure again! (the wrong characters and trasnposed pad lit) i repeat the process several times and always the same!
Is my scsi zip drive el problem?

TRANSPOSE - Turned off if the analog jack port is
detected. This will remain lit if the
analog board is not plugged in.

try reseat your analogue board connecter
