I have the same problem with my rack unit.
It's your floppy drive, it is on it's way out.
If I take the HD out of the rack, and put it in my keyboard, it will boot from the HD, but if I put the floppy from the rack into the keyboard, the keyboard will not boot from the hard drive.
If I jumper pins 25/26, then the rack will boot from the HD.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
