Re: [emax] slider replacement

you need through hole pots they dont sell them they only do

pcb mounted with solder lugs those ones fit to slots in a pcb and mounting holes then you use flying leads to solder to them

you need alpha pot sliders but they need to be solder through hole mounted

as long as you measure the length and the pins

best bet would be to desolder 1 the data one as you can still use the up down keys to scroll through the display

the emax1 has brand new sliders on it i will try and dig through my receipts toi find where i brought it from

  Subject: [emax] slider replacement

  Hi,

the data and volume sliders of my emax II don't work fine anymore. Sometimes they skip parts or if I enter the lowest/highest level they jump to the opposite value. Recalibrating and cleaning did not help...

I'm wondering if these could replace them or which specifications should I keep in mind?:

Is it difficult to change them or is it just desoldering the old ones replacing them by the new ones?

Thank you very much and a nice weekend!

  Best regards
  Freddy
