would have to find out the file format E-mu used which is the part they
won't release.

There are quiet a few software arpeggiators out there for the PC don't
any of them do something similar to CruzControl? I do use the
Arppegiator so I wouldn't know.

Try Rubber Chicken Software http://www.chickensys.com/ They are
working on this for Release 2 of Translator, but I'm not sure they can
ever support the Emax and Emax II as they were never able to get the
format from E-mu and when I provided them with the source code for
EMX I don't think it was very helpful enough. Of course, my solution is
simple. I have both an Emax II and an ESi-32 turbo so I can import
everything (except sequences and arppeggiator settings) into the ESi
then use Translator release 1 from there. Of course, I have no reason
to do this :/
