I suppose one could whip up a generic sample program, flexible enough to act like an Emax, then release the file/diskette conversion utility as freeware, along with an Emax "skin" .... BUT if they wish to be left behind, so be it. "CruzControl" isn't such an astonishing idea that somebody couldn't write a MIDI utility to do the same thing. Another approach would be for an enterprising soul to specialize in conversions ...
