First I Want o thank you all for your posts. I'm a new emax owner. I bought this a few weeks ago and had a lot of fun with... since my floppy drive broke down. It was the original floppy drive MF353B-12UJ. I saw a post that explain me, I just have to sold on DS0 on whatever PC floppy drive. I'm working in a computer store, so it was easy for me to repair my new 25years old emax ! Thanks for the help. Now, I'm testing EMXP and I'm not happy with it. I think (maybe I'm wrong), that's better to sample from the Input of the emax than convert wav files. Truncate (star/end) fonction is not so easy on the sampler, so I'm asking a question. Is Alchemy software can help me on this ? I'm not sure about the possibilities of this software. (I know what is sample dump with my S760 Roland with awave or soundforge) I just want to sample with the input of my emax and edit the sample.. & if possible edit loops. Which mac should I use to do this ? Is alchemy the right sotfware for this ? I know OS X, I've got a mac but, never use OS 7/8/9, I was on windows in the past. A friend can give me a Mac SE, a LC III or a PowerMac G3 brown. On a notebook? I don't have any sofware/system CDs/floppies. Thank you again.
