Emax

Hello all,


I have recently joined this group, have lurked a bit, and have been  
impressed by the technical expertise of all the participants in this  
group on all things Emax. Unfortunately, my experience with the Emax,  
which I acquired in the mid '90s didn't go well. It worked for a  
while, while I struggled to learn "its ways", and then it began  
misbehaving, as in intermittently working, not starting up, starting  
up, etc. My impression was that it might be intermittent contact  
problems with boards, connectors. Even more unfortunately still, I  
moved to a smaller place, and working on this box became impossible.  
It's sat in storage with the manual, a box of OS diskettes as well as  
the System Disks, et al. It also had the max-memory mod installed.   
I'd like to offer it for sale to anyone who wants to tinker with a  
probably undamaged machine, but one which will need the attention of  
someone smarter than me with electronics.  If any of you are  
interested contact me off-list. I am located in San Diego, California,  
and if shipping is required, we'll have to "talk" -  anyway.
