Hi,
A demo version of Alchemy, which may run as a full version, is on the web
site as a free download in the EIII pages.
The RS422 schematics are in the Emax and Emax II sections.
Alchemy really likes a Mac a bit bigger than a Classic, but it will run
okay. It works even better with a Digidesign AudioMedia II card which means
you can listen to the samples playing on the Mac properly and record samples
via the analog or digital in..
Regards
Rob

Subject: [emax] Mac programs
A friend of mine just gave me his Mac Color Classic I thought it would be
fun to have,
right next to my Commodore 64. I've been using PCs since 1988 and have no
clue about
Macs. My hope was that I would be able to get a copy of Alchemy with the
Emax
module, get a RS422 cable and check out the editing it can do with my Emax
II. Anyone
who can send me information on where I can get it and perhaps a cable too
(I'm not very
good at gadget building) I would greatly appreciative.
