any sampler tip really, but lots of fun to play with if you don't already know. You can fake a PWM sound on a sampler (or any synth that has the capability too) by layering a Ramp and a sawtooth wave (layering an up saw and a down saw) if they are perfectly aligned they will cancel out and you will have silence, but if you offset one of them you will get a pulsewave of varying dutycycle depending on howmuch you have it offset, if you slightly detune one or both of them, you will get PWM.
