If you are booted in classic on the G3, you should be able to write floppies
that the Mac SE can read.
I've done it before, long ago in a galaxy far away......

I recommend you get a new floppy for that G3 and make those 7.5.5 disks.
That way you can get your mac running the Iomega extensions.....
