Emax

Hi Dmitri,

Turn on the Emax without a floppy in the drive and it should attempt to load the OS from the HDD. Have you tried to load/save to the HDD instead of the floppy? What OS version do you have? As much details as you can provide will be very helpful.

Subject: [emax] EMAX HD Retro





I just got an Emax with the sticker that says "HD Retro". the guy who sold it said... 
"It's an Emax with the HD retrofit but the drive don't work."

Two Questions:

1.How can I test the drive?

2.Where can i get a new one?

It boots and i was able to sample.
I was not able to load sounds from floppy or save to floppy after reading the manual.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i'm already using it even though i cant save or load samples!
