Emax

The emax has a lot of functions but the MPC does not.

I mean, the pitch bend is not a regular CC control that goes from 0 to 127, is a high resolution controller I believe it has 5000 or 8000 values and can be only controled by another pitch bend.

Then, the emax (as any other midi device) has a midi implementation chart where all the controlable CC parameters are described. Those parameters can be controlled from the MPC or any controller.

Now, the Emax has an special function that alloows you to control only 2 special fetures from  an external midi device. I have an Emax II keyboard, I am not shure about your module. So you can take a look at your manual, you can control the filter and some other stuffs. Actually in the keyboard version you could control the pan and filters with the pitch wheel and that was an incredible routing back then and today.

So, read the midi implementetion chart of the emax and I believe you can accomplish many things too if you learn deep your MPC.
