This 540MB limit is a well known fact... but I have seen Emax-II disks formatted with sizes larger than this. One of those images had a size of 632 MB, which was a surprise to me. Anyway I made the partition settings of that disk available in EMXP a while ago. So you're able now to create an empty 632MB image with EMXP, filling it with banks and then copying this image to a CDROM which can be used on the Emax-II. The EMAX-II seems not to have any problems with this CDROM. The same can probably be accomplished on flash cards (by putting this image on a 1GB card instead of a CDROM). Anyway, if anyone succeeds in formatting flash disks of 1 GB or larger, and the available size for Emax seems to be more than the maximum I have see so far (632 MB), I (and other Emax-II users) would appreciate it if you contact me. It would allow me to add larger format sizes to EMXP. ///E-Synthesist --- In emax@yahoogroups.com, john@... wrote: > > Sorry but this is incorrect.
