What I meant is that the SE upgrade sets a few bits in the EEPROM. The Emax checks for those bits 
before allowing you to use the SE functions. 

Of course, the SE OS is loaded each time you boot from disk and the install disks on both the Emax 
I and Emax II make no change to the EPROM data as far as I can tell.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
