Emax

Into Sequencer set-up then put Supermode on, 
Go into Track Status and make a track ready to record (the letter R
comes up in the display when you press yes )
Press record, then play. then enter and UNTITLED will be displayed. 
Create as many tracks as you need and go into Track Preset and assign 
a preset to those tracks.
Track numbers and Midi channel numbers are the same
You can have upto 8 parts playing mono timbrally, otherwise you
divide your 8 note polyphony accordingly.
