So you would rather run the Emax from a floppy? Because you'll never 
be able to run the Emax from a hard drive if you power it off. It might 
even lock up the Emax. I find running from a floppy aggrivatingly slow. 
Is it really making that much noise? Why not try a different drive? Of 
course, I've never understood people and they're complaints about fan 
noise and such. For me it's never interfered with anything I'm doing.
