You'll only get 8 note polyphony at any one time.
And, if you use individual outs - one per channel.

Emax II had 16 stereo.

  i'm trying to record a sequece out of my groovebox (not too complex. 8 
  parts 3 voices per part at time max) and it looses notes. maybe is the 
  midi port.
  maybe i can record track by track, but i'm not really sure that works...
