You can use a computer to load the sounds from an EOS or ESI sampler and then send them to the Emax that way, but it can be mono samples only. To connect the Emax to your computer for file transfer you can use MIDI Sample Dumps (SDS) or if you use a Mac you can also use the computer interface. To use the computer interface you will need to build a cable, the pin-out diagram is available from my site in the Emax II FAQ and it also requires you use an old version of Passports Alchemy that includes an Emax module. If you use a PC you will need software that supports MIDI SDS, programs like Sound Forge and Awave seem to be the most popular John Silveria II AIM: EmaxJS The Silveria Family Website Emax and Emax II User's Group http://www.silveriafamily.com
