Hi Simon, 

The features and possibilities of the EII are a bit different to the Emax so 
you might like to consider hanging onto both, unless you are really broke or 
out of space. Check the manuals on emulatorarchive to see the differences. 

The EII only samples at 27.77kHz and from memory it can only transpose 
samples up or down an octave. The EII will probably be less reliable than 
your Emax but definitely has more mojo ;)
