SV: [emax] Re: SCSI Upgrade - Does a drive HAVE to be connected?

2006-06-03 by Brian Ronn

Hi

No you don't have to have a drive connected. the SCSI line just have to be terminated. If not the Emax will freeze up.

I have no internal harddrive. My harddrive and ZIP 100 are external and if I choose not to power up my external drives the Emax will after a while (approx. 20 sec.) boot up on the floppy drive.

  Best regards

  Brian

No, I got rid of the drive because It was dead. I guess you do have
to have a drive connected.

Thanks
