Subject: [emax] SCSI Upgrade - Does a drive HAVE to be connected?
Hey emaxers,
I finally got around installing a 50-24pin scsi interface on my Emax I
rack. I was careful not to let any of the recidue from drilling and
cutting of the case to get in the connector/chip board.
The problem is that whenver I plug in the connector, I can't boot from
the floppy. I haven't plugged in the zip drive yet because I haven't
bought it, but I'm wondering if after installing the 50-25pin adapter
you must have the zip disk up and running for the whole thing to boot
up.
Anybody know?
My e-max boots-up fine when I disconnect the adapter though.
Thanks.
