The reason I'm posting on this rather old topic is that I've exactly the same problems and i tried formatting several ways to get the damn thing to work. But every time I get this stupid "emu os is loading" plus the weird klick-klack sound. I'm currently waiting on an Osdisc thats being sent to me but I have the ba feeling its the drive, since I've formatted discs in emx that also got varified... Any thoughts? news ? anything? Jack
