While we're on the subject, is it practical / safe / possible / sensible to sound proof an internal drive? I know I'll never silence it completely but as it is it's really quite loud! I imagine you could wrap the whole housing in some sort of sound proofing material but presumably there would be heat dissapation issues and suchlike so to date I've never dared.
