How did you try to format it? On an Emax or EMX on a PC?

Then take a Floppy 1.44Mb and the emaxII can formatted it!

EMX can not work with a 1.44 floppy period, even if it has been formatted on an Emax 
already.

let's see several things can be happening. first are you using the sub-outs only? when 
an SDS sample arrives it is sent to the Main output only.  Also the manual has incorrect 
SDS assignments I just uploaded a file to the file section that has the correct SDS 
assignments.
