Emax

Can someone briefly explain how to use the EMX program? I'm trying to put some sounds onto my Emax II (there are no sounds currently). Just a quick tutorial will do. I'm able to format disks on the Emax II, but when I try to transfer sounds from my computer to the disk, I get the expected (unformatted disk) error. Is this what the EMX program is used for?
