If you have disks or banks with sequences, see if the unit itself will play them, or create some presets to try to rule out audio or midi problem. You should hear some noise from outputs when unit is powered on or off, also sometimes the sliders fail.To use as a slave set the Emax to the same receive channel as the send channel on the master, there are several midi settings that you may have to adjust such as local control on/ or off. Settings have to be correct on master and slave. The manual may be helpful and possibly in the group files section. Another thing to consider is if loaded presets were originally created on a keyboard model you may have to go through and adjust midi settings on each preset for them to play with midi on a rackSent from Yahoo Mail on Android
